Season of KDE

What it is: KDE’s seasonal program for students and contributors to work on KDE desktop and application ecosystem projects with mentorship.

Stipend: Certificates and swag (not a cash stipend like GSoC — verify current benefits).

Typical applications: Often open around December each year.

Official: season.kde.org

Tip: KDE uses Qt/C++; good if you care about Linux desktop, Plasma, and app development.
